PTFC FOR PEACE

A charity match that consisted of both Timbers and Thorns FC players took the field on April 27, 2022. This co-ed match is the first of it’s kind in all of professional sports. I had the pleasure to design the branding and direct a campaign within a two-week span. We created collateral for all spaces for the event.

The PTFC for Peace charity match raised over $500,000 and counting for UNICEF USA's efforts to assist children and families affected by the war in Ukraine as Team Yellow defeated Team Blue 4-3 at Providence Park Wednesday evening.

BRANDING

The branding stemmed from two elements that resonates with Timbers and Thorns; the axe and rose are a symbol that’s been part of the lexicon of both teams.

IN-GAME JERSEYS

Working with our equipment managers, we designed two contrasting jerseys for the event. Both Nike and Adidas provided jerseys for Team Blue and Team Yellow.

SCARF DESIGN

You can’t have a soccer match without scarves. A mainstay in the world of soccer, we took the opportunity to create a scarf for this momentous event.

DIGITAL GRAPHICS

Showcasing the branding on social media and our digital platforms are an essential part of this campaign. The use of blue and yellow really helped contrast the creative.

IN-STADIUM GRAPHICS

To really showcase the complexity of this event, we were also tasked at creating in-stadium graphics for the match. This included LED boards and video walls.
